Corridor (İstanbul 2021)

Photographed in an old İstanbul apartment corridor where the narrow space, worn walls, and isolated figure immediately created a sense of quiet tension.

Alone in the City
An ongoing series exploring moments of isolation, silence, and emotional distance within the density of urban life. All photographs were taken in İstanbul over several years and focus on fleeting moments where individuals appear detached from the movement and noise surrounding them.

The series was exhibited in İstanbul in 2022, and the accompanying photobook received the Gold Medal at the 2023 PX3 — Prix de la Photographie Paris.
