The Yılkı Horses
The Yılkı horses of Kayseri are descendants of domestic horses once released by villagers unable to care for them through the harsh Central Anatolian winters. Over time, they adapted to life in the open plains around Hürmetçi Sazlığı, where they now move freely in semi-wild herds.

Alone in the City
Alone in the City is an ongoing series exploring moments of isolation, silence, and emotional distance within the density of urban life. All photographs were taken in İstanbul over several years and focus on fleeting moments where individuals appear detached from the movement and noise surrounding them. The series was exhibited in İstanbul in 2022, and the accompanying photobook received the Gold Medal at the 2023 PX3 — Prix de la Photographie Paris.
A Week in Paris
All photographs in this series were taken during a single week in Paris in 2024. Rather than focusing on monuments or postcard views, I was drawn to quieter moments unfolding around them — gestures, pauses, reflections, and brief encounters shaped by the rhythm of the city. The photographs later became part of my photobook A Week in Paris.
